Meet Katharin

Working with children, youth and families has been my passion for my whole life. Like many people, I like stability and find change hard, thus I tend to stay at my jobs for long periods of time. My last job was, as a Director of a large non-profit agency where I had been for 20 years and assumed would stay until retirement. However, I hit that point in my life where I began to re-evaluate where I was and where I was going. I began to get restless and felt I wasn’t contributing enough; I wasn’t living my destiny. I wanted to make a larger impact in the world and there was too much bureaucracy inherent in my position to do that effectively.

I was afraid though. How would I support myself? What would I do? What was my destiny? I realized though, that it was important so I kept searching and looked for doors to open. Through a series of unplanned events, I was able to take a package from my work and leave with financial security (at least for a while). Isn’t it funny how these things happen when we start to pay attention?  My dreams were answered and I was given the security of time to define my passions and begin to live them to the fullest.

I struck out on my own and became a consultant studying and presenting on organizational management with a strong focus on staff satisfaction and engagement. I discovered the Passion Test and realized the power it held in assisting individuals, agencies and businesses in living their destinies. I become a Passion Test Facilitator and a Passion Test for Business Facilitator.

Having personally seen the impact the Passion Test has had on individuals in realizing what they want to do in their lives has been a tremendous gift. It brings them a sense of peace and excitement all at the same time as they move forward in directions they never thought possible. Businesses thrive with employees who are fully engaged in their work as they personally identify with the unique value of their employers. The greatest positive impact that can be achieved for children and families occurs when staff are passionate and aligned with the vision of their agencies.
